Mountain Summit Gear Heavy-Duty Roll-Top Table
The Mountain Summit Gear Heavy-Duty Roll-Top Table is large and has a steel frame, although the shape of it means there’s limited leg space underneath and it’s a bit hard to set up. It’s a great-sized camping table that has some downsides.
REI Co-Op Camp Prep Table
The REI Co-Op Camp Prep Table is sturdy and has all metal, adjustable legs, which gives it a con: it’s heavy. It’s also not the most durable and is expensive. Overall, it’s a heavy camping table with a large surface area,
Atepa Bamboo Folding Table
The Atepa Bamboo Folding Table is small, know that before you buy it online. It’s lightweight though, as well as waterproof and has adjustable legs, which is a nice feature to have. A stable table for a variety of uses.
Quechua ARPENAZ 4.2 Camping Tent
The Quechua ARPENAZ 4.2 Camping Tent offers a smaller footprint than other tents at a low cost. Some may find the sleeping area a bit cramped and it’s also not a self-supporting tent. Overall it’s a compact, budget tent.
Quechua Air Seconds 4.1
The Quechua Air Seconds 4.1 tent has a no-pole setup as well as a large and light living area. It’s a bit small and the sleeping space has a low ceiling, plus, the pump is not included, which is disappointing. Overall, it’s a decent, cheaper option for an inflatable tent.
Snow Peak Alpha Breeze
The Snow Peak Alpha Breeze is a durable, great-quality tent with four doors for ventilation and access, but it mesh material could be finer and it comes with poor-quality pegs. It also has a complicated setup. Overal, thought, it’s a small family tent with great use of space.
Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air
The Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air tent provides families with separate rooms and is extremely durable for rugged conditions. It’s also waterproof! It is, however, very heavy and expensive but if that’s not an issue, it’s a luxurious option that will last you for years.
Zempire Evo TXL V2 Air
The Zempire Evo TXL V2 Air really surprised us. The air frame and solid design get a huge tick from us. We loved the extra large family spaces and multiple bedroom configuration options. You could be happy in this thing even on a rainy day. With its simple setup and pack down this was one of our favourite tents for camping with the family.
Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 Shelter
The Coleman Cortes Octagon 8 Shelter is a spacious, comfortable and well-ventilated tent. It can be difficult to store in the bag and only has a single room, but it’s a simple, roomy tent that’s reasonably priced.
Coleman Vail 4
The Coleman Vail 4 is a good-quality, budget tent with a built-in awning. It’s mesh is a bit fragile and the poles can be annoying to thread and pitch but this is to be expected with the cost. There are cheaper, easier-to-pitch tents on the market.
Heimplanet Backdoor Classic
The Heimplanet Backdoor Classic is an extremely light and quick to set up family tent for four people. Despite its low ceiling and the fact that the outer fabric of the tubes takes a while to dry, it’s an excellent option where weight matters.
Outsunny 4–6-Person Camping Tent
The Outsunny 4–6-Person is a lightweight and low-cost camping tent. It has quite a small living and sleeping space, despite being marketed for 4 people, and it’s not suitable for very wet weather. For occasional use in the summer, it’s a decent, low-cost tent for young families.
Oztent RV5
The Oztent RV5 Pros is a quality-constructed, easy setup family camping tent. It’s expensive and a bit hard to transport but overall, it’s a great tent for touring.
Kampa Hayling 6 AIR
The Hayling 6 AIR tent offers huge living spaces, separate sleeping quarters and panoramic windows. While it has lots of guy lines, overall, it’s a great tent for a home away from home that also packs up quickly.
REI Co-Op Wonderland X
The REI Co-Op Wonderland X Tent is spacious, well-built and breathable but it’s huge and needs a lot of room to set up, not to mention it’s expensive. It’s a tent you would take car camping.
Therm-a-Rest Hyperion 20
The Therm-a-Rest Hyperion 20 is of high quality and comfort, a great choice for saving weight and size. Definitely worth its spot on the Best Sleeping Bags of 2024.
Rab Neutrino 800
Designed to be lightweight, warm, and compressible, the Rab Neutrino 800 serves up all three but with a few shortcomings. At a high price point, the bag offers a nice tapered design with enough room to adjust movement, and it compresses down well into its stuff sack, but it may be outperformed by other bags with much less cost.
Mountain Hardwear Phantom
The Mountain Hardwear Phantom is one of the best in terms of warmth-to-weight ratio. The 850-fill down insulation is an excellent feature fit for those who want to do more serious expeditions. Warmth is doubled around the head with its four-chamber hood, worth mentioning as it does a great job at that. It can be packed down to high-end compression sack for convenient carry. Definitely a great choice for alpine traverse.
Big Agnes Sidewinder SL 20
The Big Agnes Sidewinder is perfect for side sleepers. It’s warm and roomy but not great for back sleepers, and it has a lot of down shedding. It’s a backpacking tent for cold conditions.
Therm-a-Rest Parsec 0
The Therm-a-Rest Parsec 0 is an insulated and comfortable sleeping bag that has a mummy shape, which doesn’t suit everyone. It’s slightly bulky, but it’s a decent bag for cold between-season camping.
