Our Analysis & Ratings
As a durable and stable small table, the Atepa Bamboo Folding Table is incredibly versatile. Use it in your home next to your bed, use it when camping for a side table, use it at a picnic or concert for your food, use it to work on your laptop, whatever it is, it’s a sturdy little table that also stores away easily.
Performance - For the size, the Atepa Bamboo Folding Table does everything it’s made to do. It’s stable and well-made, meaning you can eat on it and work on it without it collapsing under you and it’s small enough to fold away into tight spaces, like in your van or 4WD. If you’re looking for a small dining table, though, it’s simply too small.
Construction - The Atepa is made from natural bamboo which gives it waterproof and stain-resistant properties, and the legs are made from aluminum alloy. While small, it’s strongly made and durable, but we don’t know if it justifies the price.
Features - Requires no tools to set up; just fold and unfold the pre-assembled bracket with the integrated top, meaning you have a table ready to go in seconds. For more sturdiness, the table also comes with metal safety locks and the feet have anti-slip pads, so if you have a tarp laid out, it won’t move around. Each leg can adjust from 11.8in to 15.7in, which is a great feature to see on even a small table. It makes for stability in uneven terrain.
Portability - Being made from bamboo and aluminum, the Atepa is ultralight and portable, weighing just over 6.8lb. It also packs down nice and small to 16.1x4.7x6.6in, making it both light and compact. It also comes with a carry bag, making it convenient to transport.
Versatility - While not the largest of camping tables, it can be easily transported around your campsite and is sturdy enough to hold your belongings, such as a laptop, some snacks for the kids, for outdoor concerts or even for use indoors. It’s quite short, though, so it won’t suit everyone’s needs. It’s more of a lap table or one to use while sitting on the ground.
Overall - The Atepa Bamboo Folding Table is sturdy and simple, but small and not a table the whole family can eat their meal on.
