Our Analysis & Ratings
The Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air is an impressive tent. It includes four rooms plus a porch structure, is incredibly durable, is waterproof, has tinted windows, has great ventilation and is light and roomy. Not surprising for the brand, it’s a fantastic tent that even sets up within a few minutes.
Comfort - The Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air is very tall — 90.55in at its highest — so you won’t be bending your head when walking around. There are 15 ventilation points, which is fantastic on a tent.
Construction - The shell is made with high-quality and strong 210D 130T polyoxford with a 420D ripstop grid, it also scores a high waterproof rating — 10000mm! It also has a UPF 100 UV rating. These are also all flame-retardant materials. The tent has two inner tents, a living area and an enclosed, floorless porch. There are three entry points, with the main front door lifting into an awning with three included aluminum poles. When pegged down, you can create two narrow doors on its sides, which is incredibly handy.
Features - The Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air also includes the pump, which is great to see. Given its large size, we found it surprisingly straightforward and relatively quick to set up. One bedroom has a removable divider, while the other has separate storage space. There are about 10 windows, some of which have solid tinted part along with a mesh part for ventilation, which can be closed for privacy. We particularly liked the skylight windows, which were great for letting light in during the day.
Size/Weight - At 94.67lbs, this is very heavy. For the overall area, height and quality, the weight is justified, but you will definitely need a car to move it and multiple people to carry it.
Versatility - The Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air comfortably sleeps 6, with the option to sleep more in the living area if required. The door system is incredibly versatile, allowing you to enter the tent differently, depending on the configuration and where you’re camping. Made for New Zealand climate with cold winters and warm summers, it offers great versatility for US conditions.
Overall - The Zempire Aerodome II Pro Air is one of the most luxurious 6-person tents out there, made with high-quality materials and with great attention to detail that we really enjoyed.
