The GCI Outdoor Kickback Rocker Chair is quite a unique camping chair — it rocks! Literally. Sit down and rock gently back and forth wherever you place the chair, and it’s comfortable enough to sit in for hours on end — plus, it has all the necessary features for such an occasion.
Comfort - Its load capability is standard at 250lb, which could be better, but it’s incredibly comfortable and relaxing to sit on. You’re able to rock back and forth while watching the sunset or waiting for a fish to bite. Some might find it a bit too low to the ground, especially if you’re tall, which can be uncomfortable to position your legs and get out of.
Construction - Made with an alloy steel frame, the chair is able to rock back and forth due to its patented spring-action rocking technology. The fabric is ripstop polyester with a coating on the back for added durability. It’s well-built and sturdy, making it a great value camping chair. The fabric, however, isn’t weatherproof, so make sure to store it away overnight.
Features - The GCI Outdoor Kickback Rocker Chair includes armrests, a phone pocket and drink holder. Most importantly, its construction allows it to rock back and forth with stability! It doesn’t come with a carry pack, which is a bummer.
Size/Weight - It quickly and easily unfolds and compacts by sliding close, and then is easily carried by the shoulder strap. At 10.6lb, it’s not a crazy heavy chair, either. It opens to 27.2x32.5x31.7in, with a seat height of 15.9in. The chair folds to a size of 39x7.9x5.9in, so it’s not as compact as some other chairs.
Versatility - The chair rocks on most surfaces, making it a great rocking chair whether you’re camping, fishing, watching a sporting game or using it in your garden. Its weight means it’s best for activities where you don’t need to carry it long distances.
