If you want something that’s light, versatile, comfortable and will last you a long time, you’re going to want to check out the NEMO Moonlite Reclining Camp Chair. While a tad on the expensive side, it’s built to last and is perfect for camping, watching your kids’ sporting matches and whatever you need.
Comfort - The chair is incredibly comfortable due to its reclining system and it’s breathable with plenty of support. Its load capacity is higher than others on our list too, holding up to 300lb, and being built from high-quality materials, it feels sturdy. The adjustable straps allow you to sit up or recline, so you’re not constantly in a reclining position, something we find with many chairs of this kind.
Construction - The chair is made of PCR polyester and mesh with an aluminum frame, so it’s built to last. The mesh is durable and holds up with repeated use and long trips. The feet are plastic and a bit wide, giving the advantage of not sinking into soft surfaces.
Features - Being able to adjust whether you recline or sit up is a major feature of this chair, allowing you to either relax back at camp or sit up, cook, read a book or play cards. This functionality is the only main feature of this chair, though, as it has no pockets or drink holder.
Size/Weight - The chair packs down to 4x14in, which isn’t tiny and a little bulky, but still quite small for most people and uses. At 1lb 14oz, it’s pretty dang light, too. The only annoyance is that it’s a bit difficult to pack down into the carry bag due to one leg pole that can’t fold.
