Our Analysis & Ratings
As a dining table or side table, the Dometic Element Table in medium is perfect for all-weather camping. It has adjustable legs and folds up easily, but you might want to keep the box to store it when not in use to keep it clean and when transporting.
Performance - Each leg is adjustable so that you can individually adjust the table when placed on uneven ground. It’s a great dinner table for two; it can fit up to four if you don’t mind being a bit squashed. The large feet help the legs not sink into soft ground and also stop your groundsheet from getting damaged, if using one. On a hot day, the black surface can get very hot.
Construction - Built with lightweight aluminum, the Dometic Element Table in medium has a solid construction. The tabletop is waterproof, so spillages and rain won’t damage the table.
Features - Its edges are rounded so that adults and kids alike don’t get hurt bumping into them. It has solid, adjustable legs. It only has a maximum load of 66lbs.
Portability - At 11lbs, it’s light and portable enough to take camping. The table itself doesn’t fold, just the legs, but it’s not so large that this is much of an issue.
Versatility - The feet make it able to be used on a variety of surfaces, and with a size of 31.5x27.95x23.62in, it’s not too big or too small. There is a smaller and a bigger version, though, if needed. The medium is not big enough for a family of 5 and above.
Overall - If you’re looking for a table that you can sit at that’s not too high and that’s not incredibly heavy or large, you should consider the Dometic Element Table in medium.
