Enjoy plenty of counter space when camping with the Uquip Variety L. As the large version, the table is sturdy and easy to set up and pack away, as well as store with its compact bag — great to see on such a large table. While it doesn’t have the largest load capacity and some may think the setup is more involved, it’s the best of both the portability and space worlds, all at a great value.
Performance - Where the tabletop rolls out, it has small gaps — about 0.12in — but these aren’t big enough for glasses or bottles to tip over. While the bumpy surface impedes performance but does increase grip, and the size of the table is great, so the performance score levels out. For its sturdiness, it only has a maximum load of 66lbs, though. Sometimes, the legs can jam when pushed in too hard.
Construction - The tabletop and legs are made from aluminum. It comes in two pieces: the frame and then the top, which you roll out.
Features - The Uquip Variety L comes with a net underneath the table so you can store various items, which is quite handy on a picnic or when using it for cooking. The legs are adjustable, and the gaps between the slats on the top are quite narrow, meaning — unless you knock them — glasses won’t catch in the grooves and topple over.
Portability - At 13.7lbs, it’s starting to get on the higher end of table weights, but this is due to the sturdy, full aluminum construction. The tabletop is 47x38in, which is plenty of room for up to 6 people. It’s easy to set up and pack back down, just unfold and fold the legs — this also saves space when transporting it — and roll or unroll the top. It comes with a storage bag for easy transportation, which takes up little space.
Versatility - The Uquip Variety L is weatherproof due to its aluminum construction and its adjustable legs make it great for many different ground types. It’s adjustable from 18–28in, so if kids are using it to eat or play, they won’t struggle with its height.
