Our Analysis & Ratings

The Sea to Summit TkIII was the best sleeping bag we tested overall. Very warm and comfortable with pretty much all the features you would need. It has a slightly narrow foot space but we didn’t find that to be an issue. We love the dual zipper feature and quality construction. Good weight given the down fill (which is generally heavier) and cozy feel. A great all-rounder.

Comfort - This is a very comfortable bag with a soft touch, a breathable 20D nylon lining, a warm fill and spacious feel. Could have more room for feet.

Construction - Quality moisture-resistant duck down, comfortable and strong fabrics, and separated inner and outer layers for added warmth make this a very well-constructed bag.

Features - Excellent features with storage bag provided, anti-snag zippers, neck baffle, draft tubes, dual zippers, ability to join a second bag (LH RH), and zipped phone pocket. Could have more foot space.

Size/Weight - Packed size of 18x8in and weight of 2.65lbs. A reasonable size for a bag of this warmth.

Versatility - This was the best bag we reviewed. Great warmth and construction. A bag we would be happy to use on a regular basis.

Overall - This is a great all-round bag.
