The Fiam Dondolina Steel Frame is a stylish reclining chair that is sturdy and comfortable. It has weather-resistant fabric, meaning it’s great for hot, sunny days in the sun, and it’s easy to chuck into the car when heading to the beach or fold away to store until you head back.

Construction/Design - The Fiam Dondolina has a steel frame and polyester seat in neutral colours. It’s quite sturdy, so have peace of mind that it won’t collapse on you as you look stylish relaxing by the beach. Its design is simple and it doesn’t have any features, like drink holders or pockets, which is not the best for the beach.

Setup/Pack Down - No assembly is needed, just pull it open, and it folds back down flat easily, allowing you to store it without it being bulky. It measures 31x25x39in when open.

Portability - Light to carry around at 6.6lbs, similar to other chairs we reviewed. As it folds down flat, it’s easy to pack into the car for trips to the beach, although it has no carry bag.

Comfort - While great for reclining and lounging in — it bends with you as you lean back — the Fiam Dondolina doesn’t sit upright, such as when you want to read. It can be a bit uncomfortable when you sit far forward or far backward as the front bar comes up under your legs. Despite that, it’s easy to get up out of. It only supports a weight of 220lbs, which is quite low.

Durability - Made with polyester that is high-resistant and weather-resistant, so it won’t fade in the sun. Make sure to store it in a dry place when not in use, though.

Overall - For a durable chair at a medium price point, the Fiam Dondolina is great for lounging at the beach or even on your deck.
